Michelle Akpojovwo | Atlanta, GA
Michelle is a retired technology executive with 25+ years leading Enterprise Architecture and IT strategy at AT&T and Cricket Wireless. Known for turning vision into value, she now directs GWNFUSA’s mission to expand access, knowledge, and opportunity for women. Through strategy, partnerships, and digital innovation, she is building resilient platforms that empower women to lead, build, and thrive.
Deputy Director
Kelli Abbey | Baltimore, MD
Kelli Abbey is an emerging leader in inclusive engagement, drawing on her experience in healthcare, travel, and advocacy to expand visibility and access. As Deputy Director of GWNFUSA, she advances strategic growth through digital outreach and program design—supporting equity, empowerment, and the rise of resilient women leaders.
Global Governance:
The Global Women Network Foundation operates through three legally registered and independently governed entities:

Global Women Network Foundation, Ltd (UK) – a charitable company registered in the United Kingdom (CH/12049819)

Global Women Network Foundation (Nigeria) – a registered nonprofit with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC/IT/NO114089) and EFCC-SCUML (SCUML/074240)
Each organization adheres to its country’s regulatory framework and financial compliance laws. Though unified in mission, they operate as distinct legal entities. Michelle Akpojovwo serves in a co-founding or executive leadership role across all three.
